Hey,

I have a silvia and am looking to make a checker plate box to go over the pod filter and draw some cooler air from outside the engine bay into it. Was just wondering if this had been done by anyone here and if they have the measurements to make up something for it, basically coz im too lazy and dun have to time to work it all out.
Another thing i was thinking was if i totally blocked the box up (silicon it) and just had a big pipe running from it to somewhere like the lil grill on the side of ma front bar, how long i could make it (could it go all the way to the bottom of my front bar?) and would it be getting enough air??

just get a cardboard box and a pressure pack of silver, hack the box until it fits then while in the engine bay spray some paint on it. done and it will look like shit! DONT TAKE SHORT CUTS, DONT BE LAZY, DO IT PROPERLY OR DONT BOTHER!

and for an even better touch, paint it whilst its sittin in the engine bay and forget to mask off the rest of your motor :P

dont totally seal the box up it needs a little bit of a vent so that hot/ excess air can flow out.
