Amp for type R's

Hey i have recently purchased some alpine type r components 6 1/2 and coaxials 6 1/2 and wanted to know which amp would be the best to run them.

Hey Mate,

Type R's dont require a huge power input... anything over 100wrms/channel generally makes them distort...

If you wanna stick with Alpine, the MRPF300 is perfect for them @ $399... The PDX4.100 is also quite a good amp that will power them to their absolute potential... they go for $799.

Otherwise, the Eclipse XA4200 is pretty spot on for power and clarity. They go for $599. Also consider going the Rockford Fosgate P400.4... huge power, huge sound & build quality... well priced at $699.
