Was riding with a mate a while ago, he had cargos and a t shirt on (and gloves) Had a tank slapper at about 150ks and highsided it behind me. Threw him over 3 metres in the air and a long way down the road.

Could see the meat on his palms, arms and parts of his back. Not pretty.

I had an off once waring work clothes (Dress pants and shit) now I always have a good jaket and jeans with boots at the very least.

As JME said their is no comprimise on safety when riding. Last time I was up at wanneroo a bloke came off coming over the hill at 220+ was waring full leathers and walked away with a bump on his elbow.
