$50 of petrol lasts me 2 weeks ofcity driving but the car looks like it should be burning through $100 a week.

So in his eyes the basis for a good car is one that looks like it should be burning more fuel than it actually does. With an extra hundred kilos of fiberglass and four hundred kilos of bob jane specials there i'd say he might get close to that evo economy, especially if he's got a heavy right boot.
