i have been left a rifle but am unable to get the thing unless i have a firearms licence.

I need someone with a load of land to write a letter saying i can use it on there land to take car of vermin. that way i can get a licence to keep the rifle.

A Case in it for you.
Please help someone.

i brought an 8 gun safe from lone rangers for 400 odd bucks
have a chat to them about it, and make sure u read the regs propely about the installation

join a rifle club, then you dont need to worry about land. all depends what sort of rifle it is. Give me some details. Im on the committee for SSAA and will probably be able to help out a bit

for what club? ive been a member for like 10 years i think, used to shoot down at dawesville, and will prols join swanbourne and shoot f class once i get myself
settled financially with other projects ect

depending on type of rifle and which clubs allow certain calibres. personally i dont shoot rifles anymore just pistols.

above 2 are open liscences getting transferred to mine atm

Looking at buying a styer scout in 223 rem with the heavey barrel will also go on open liscence, and a marlin lever action in 45/70 govt

and if i do end up going f class ill also look at something 223

wont be able to help sorry mate made a call and the place is now being managed by different people, we used to know the last managers well but yeh as its owned by BHP now they keep chopping and changing whos on it,

an option may be to try doin a ring around of some farmsnear york ect never know your luck, but for a 308 winchester you will need a half decent sized property as its classed as high power obviously, what model of rifle is it?

you can make a silencer out of a water bottle... saw it in a movie, must be true

on a side note, is this a once off or do you need to a letter again when you have to renew your license (assuming that the license needed renewal)
