Would it be appropriate to say owned?

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0,27574,24719528-2761,00.html

A YOUNG woman was killed by a car after trying to rob a Mirrabooka woman who stopped to give her a lift in Embleton last night.

A 30-year-old driver noticed the girl hitchhiking along Tonkin Highway about 10:30pm and gave her a lift, but as the pair travelled south and approached the Guildford Rd overpass, the girl threatened the woman with a pair of scissors in an apparent attempt to rob the woman.

Police say a struggle developed between the two during which the driver was able to take the scissors from her attacker and throw them from the car before stopping in the right hand lane.

The girl then grabbed the woman’s handbag and started to get out of the car, but was struck by a Ford Falcon wagon that was being driven by a 37-year-old man from Ellenbrook.

The young woman, who has yet to be identified, died at the scene.

Now the chick who picked her up and the guy who ran her over should hook up and it would be the perfect story.

Makes it easier to sleep at night knowing she was a filthy thug thuogh. Much worse situation if the person was innocent.

Meh... death is to good a deal. Not uncommon for people of that mindset not to fear it...

Would feel better seeing her strapped to a pole in st george's terrace 24/7... with nothing but one rag and one tub of bootpolish a day... a hessian sack for clothing...

made to polish shoes for 10cents a pop... she'd might've be able to buy a sandwich before running out of polish...
