Yea mate I got one of these decks a month ago. There is NO cd slot so it's basically radio and iPod only which is fine by me, that's what I wanted. You can connect USB thumb drives if that floats ya boat too. I got the little slide out tray that docks, charges and hides the iPod underneath. It's easy to use (navigate the iPod), screen is awesome and the whole unit looks really good. My only complaints are lack of instant mute button (have to pause instead) and you can't change the volume while you are navigating menus.

Isn't the bottom left button for mute?
The volume problem while navigating is an issue with most Alpine decks, if not most other brands as well.

FWIW, if you love CD's that much, these accept a CD Stacker (Alpine stacker of course...)
