apexi boost guage

my boost guage doesnt work and is connected correctly in the vacumme line.
it lights up but doesnt read the boost.

is it common for the apexi guages not to work??

wouldnt matter anyway.
if its all wired up correct, best way to check gauge would be to try it on someone elses sender & try their gauge on yur sender
