ENTRY CLOSE OFF: The biggest change for MV2005 is the earlier cut off. The close off for MV2005 is Wednesday 22 December. This date was chosen because of Xmas and New Years eve being on the following two Fridays and primarily because of the amount of work required to process to 550 entries expected for this event. It is our intention to get all the credentials out to each entrant in plenty of time rather than the mad rush we endured earlier this year when we blew our anticipated 450 entries out by over 17%. The trick is to get your entries in early…and save money!

THIS IS HOW YOU RUN A CAR SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!

on another note speedworks is doing the dyno as formaz refused, now speedworks has stepped up to the plate.
1. there dyno cant reach in to shortened axles (ford 9in) ask chonic the ute.
2. PLEASE get it calibrated
3. there is further talk of them doing only 10 cars a day.

that is all.

i started that thread months ago about motorvation entries
http://www.antilag.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1857&highlight=motorvation

sounds like the chance has come and gone if they have exceeded the entrant limit as blownxd said.

hub dynos should not be used in comps

TJ

hey i know we aint the best of friends but if u can get us a spot would be greatly appreciated and as said anyone changing there minds on entering i will pay the amount of entry plus an extra $100 to get the position off you

Brockas
14-12-2004, 09:35 PM
yeah tj, i rang them today, they didn't seem too keen on more entrants but when i mentioned the club they just said to send a shitload of forms in and with any luck we may get a couple of spots if other dud cars pull out.

for all of us who have already entered, aparently we get a confirmation letter within the next two weeks....

MissenLinx
20-12-2004, 04:33 PM
hahahahahaha obviously who ever you emailed had no fucking clue

Brockas
20-12-2004, 05:02 PM
LOL

well i entered, and the name i put under 'club' was antilag.com

i'm sure a few other people have done this, so most likely they haven't allocated spots for specific clubs yet....

I dont like your chances of getting late entrants in cause ive spoken to them numerous times and there saying no-ones being allowed to add extras without them being scrutineered against the other 150 or so on the waiting list and from what ive heard theres a hell of alot of show quality cars in there so your chances are pretty slim.

No not again! No 9in diffs, that will leave them with about 10 cars to dyno anyway.
Hub dynos are really not for spectators

I would rather a hub dyno than no dyno, which appears to be the situation otherwise.

magic1

i would rather no dyno if its going to give bullshit power readings.

First i've heard of Speedworks dyno making an appearance at MV05, best you find out direct from the source if this is true, im there everyday overseeing my current build and in no way is their dyno booked in for MV05.

Entries closed 2 weeks ago, so if the plex is offering you positions get onto it yesterday.

cya's there
