Who ever designed the place was an architectural genius. Either someone else will take over, or it will remain unused for years to come.

Has been great when it's been rammed for music events. Not a fan of the usual Sat night sUpER kRuP or emPiRE... or whatever gangsta name the night is called now. Needs to remain so the hard fucks of perth can shoot and stab each other on Sat nights and you know where not to go.

Whoever buys this venue is gonna run it as a club as well, so I doubt it will just sit there unused. What sort of club they'll make out of it, who knows. I only ever gone there for Armin and other events, hardly ever been there on usual saturdays. But every single time I've been there, without fail, I spotted John Kizon haha.

fantastic venue. structually amazing, nothing else like it in perth

and it has a CRANKING sound system, when they give it curry the base that place can produce is phenonimal.

Plus the outside roof place in a corner that doesnt smell like smoke is a good place to get some fresh air/take a piss

There was even a casino on the top level at some stage!

ps they DO have a rather interesting corporate structure. being fascinated by all things accounting i wonder how they moved money from here to the BVI account without kicking up a storm.

used to love metro's fo the DnB gigs, was an unreal feeling to b off chops down the front then turn round and look up and just c a wall of ppl goin to the roof all rippin it up.
The set up was great as there was plenty of places you could dance up a storm wit ur mates still have a good view of the stage but not have bulk carnts tryin to barge past ya. Plus plenty of step you could sit under and gurn hahahaha.

Doubt i'll miss it a i havent been to a gig or even into NB for over a year now absolutly to many crack heads

Its funny how everyone says its full of homie gs... I worked there for like a year on the door and we never let baggy jeans homie gs in once we got our dress standards up. It was probably the best dressed club in perth and there was less fights than like bar120 and other venues. Just the music was rnb which was crap.

Its the best venue in perth for sure and hopefully someone will buy it and redo the upstairs areas and play some better music :D

The events there always rock though. AVB last year was one of the best nights out ever.

i really dont see why everyone causes such a fuss about it, sure its got a bit of history but ive seen worse shit go down at metros freo, but every time ive gone there its preety cruisy, hardly see many fights there nor other shit

that said upstairs in that little mini bar metros freo, on the right of the dj stage, everytime i walk past there there looks to be some hard carnts in there, definatly guys you dont wnat to mess with

apart from going to a few events at metro city ive only been there once on a normal sat night, it was 5 years ago and i was 17 at the time lol. majority was asian/indian etc but was still alot of white people, even saying that i did not see one fight, one bit of trouble, didnt see anyone get kicked out. doesnt really say much coz ive only been there once, loved the atmosphere though the huge sound setup was awesome and having a kebab shop in the club was the bomb!

im actually heading there this sat night but, so will see what its like. my mates most likely playing at pulse as well so be supporting them, me and a few friends had planned to check it out anyway coz we hadnt been for so long just worked out well that my other mates got the pulse gig.
