In that video i think suspension wise they are fairly similar as to whats been modded. The MCR 35 had some mighty big fuck off endless brakes on it, both had coilovers. FD obviously had coilovers, brakes looked stock-ish size and im sure ive seen a video where they said the stock brakes (different pads) were kept to preserve the balance of the car. TD-06 25G to get the power i believe, other than that as respect to handling they have been modded fairly similarly.
