i remember spending that 05 rally AUS out in the bush all weekend, watching all the big names crash out; aitko, gronholm, solberg and loeb, but mcrae kept on going and soon enough me and my mate were begging for him to finish. he ended up as high as second, i think?, then on the last day, news broke out he hadn't made it to check-in. absolutely devo as a rally fan.
