Where: Barbagallo Raceway
When: From 6pm, 02 October 2008.
More info: www.nolimitevents.com

Alot of antilag members have used the No Limits weekday track nights as a great way to legally test the limits of car and driver. Along with tuition from the guys at Trackskill on hand, its a great night for beginners to get out there.

Club track greats like Chris260, Evo Stevo, Brockas, addicted.to.speed, Evilteddy, JME and others frequent this event.

I'm gonna try get up there to watch. There is an FG F6 on the list. Haven't seen one in person yet. See if the panda eyes make it go faster.

If I wasn't running the new diff in, I would be giving it a go as well, proudly setting the pace for the slowest on the track.

Ok... so I wouldn't be so proud of it, but I'd be having a ball doing it.

Some new personal bests for people.
There was no timing until late in the night.

But a few people were getting their times off their performance boxes.
Was a good night, weather cleared up fine. Decent turn out of cars.

Will had no timing at all :(

FranZ

$150 for a few hours of track time and no timing at all. I hope there is a good reason!

Evilteddy
03-10-2008, 08:15 AM
Nigel? (time guy) Had personal reasons as to why he couldn't make it.
I've heard them and i think they're pretty valid. But still, a bit of a bummer.

Notable mentions...
Rob Hoare managed to drive into 55second lap times
Chad Northan poked his head into the 56second lap times

FranZ

So Raymond doesn't do it anymore?

TJ
03-10-2008, 08:22 AM
No it was Raymond who was late Franz.

Family issue meant he had to go to hospital first.

Yeah Raymonds wife was quite crook apparently- they should have told him not to bother and just give us $50 back each or something. If my mrs was that crook i know what i would have told them what they could do with their timing :)

A lot more than TJ!

Least reliable car in motorsport in WA. I'm not sure if it's actually completed an event!

You idiots, that last photo isnt a FAIL. It's a buuurnout, and for some reason, the wind blew the smoke from the tyres near the exhaust!!!

Bart, managed a 1:01 with a performance box reading i think... still not 100% certain on that though.

Felt good, still struggling with street tyres and will need a re-tune as it was running a bit rich, according to Volatile's comments after following me through the 'S' bends.

Robs car seemed to go really well.
As for now, it completed Sprint series on Sunday as well as No Limits last night, so it's definately on it's way.

Note #1 (Stupidity on my behalf) After driving Chris' GTR around the short track i then went out in my car and stupidly neglected to remember i was on street tyres and RWD, and proceeded to get a bit un-stuck around CAT corner.

I am amazed by the level of grip, power and stability that car has.

Well I had a ball. FARK there are some quick cars out there... managed a 1:03.5661 on my first ever outing, but a lap with one of the instructors driving showed me I need to be alot smoother. The car has heaps more in it, but i need to catch up to the car. oh and some good brakes would be nice as well.

Got a time sheet, with a few times on it. if anyone didn't get their times and wants to know ill scan it and post it up, if wanted.

You got nothing on EF Falcon brakes. :p

That's a nice time for your first outing. I assume the 350Z in your avatar (I think that's what it is) is what you were driving?
