very imnpressive car. sounds the part and to back up a series of 9 sec passes u know its got the goods! p.s how voilent is it off the line and its awd! good shit! haha
Thats pretty impressive. How good would it be to run sub 10's without a cage and keep going for gold at kwinana :D
he seemed to fall short of his 150 mph on pump gas runs
that wasnt his goal, it was to run 150 in a street driven evo (needed race gas to do it)
his goal on pump gas was a 9sec run
you guys will have the best hate sex ever!
Outa curiosity what is the fastest street VL? im gathering itd be over east?

its a little hard to classify what is considered 'street'.
There are numerous street driven 9 second vl's, but i doubt any of those were on street legal tyres.
End of the day a VL is never going to be fast on anything other then full slicks, horses for courses and all that!

Its a great effort to get a street car in the 10s
A low 9 second pass is just in another league

fuck..talk about sleeper spec! i know an evo can never be really a sleeper..but you know what i mean! imagine seeing that at the traffic lights.
fuk me!! thats insane!
it says they used race fuel tho?? did they use the race fuel in the 9.11 sec run? or just on the 9.3 run?
combine that with what i would imagine is a huge turbo and i dont think it would be that streetable.
I always wonder, what is the definition of "streetable".
That to me would be a perfectly fine street car, it has AC and full interior.

Anything with a 2J in it + 2Bar = 9's... all stock...

Thankyou Joe, you'd think everyone would know that by now!
That thing is insane!
many 9 second passes and no cage... Gotta love the yanks.

No worries dude. Seriously, if people don't have a basic knowledge of cars and at least what their stock specifications are, they shouldn't be messing around with cars.
