View Full Version : urgent help!!! tacho wire to coils

hey can anyone tell me where i put the signal wire from the tacho to the coils? which wire is it?

cant use the ecu as its fukd, so have to go straight through to coil packs.

what wont fire?
does the tacho have any instructions? how to set for 4cyl or 6cyl?

yep its set to 6 cyl, ground and 12v power wires + light are plugged in, so now gotta figure out which wire it is on the picture

is the signal going to your ecu borked, or the ecu?

if its just the signal, find a schematic with the pin outs for your ecu, and trace the wire's back to the coils to find the cause of the break down, probably a corroded connection or similar. then tap into the signal.

when i wire it to the ecu pin #7 it cuts the indash tacho, and the a/m one still wont work,
