Just saw this on another forum...
hope its not a repost
The cars belong to a family that had a Chevrolet dealership going back to the mid 50's and is still in business now. Some of the cars were old trades and others were cars that the customers didnt pay to have repaired.
As the old man just recently passed away the family decided to scrap the cars and divide up the cheque between them. They said it was because;
1- its quick money
2- ppl have been trying to pinch bits off them over the years & theres liability shit to worry about
ALL the cars were sold to scrap metal and have been crushed. From what I can gather from the original poster the guys doing the crushing had originally agreed to sell some of the bodys n parts, but due to the price of scrap metal falling and poor communication, he decided to crush the cars asap
Couple Pictures
U can see here were 1 guy has written on the car to tell the crushers to save it so he can buy it off them, but like the rest they crushed it.
