Looking at a MicroTech Lt10 for RB25... looking for any feedback/experiences regarding this Unit.

Been reading the generic SAU threads, wouldn't mind some firsthand feedback from Antilag.

also,

- Who tunes them?

- rough rundown on -/+?

Cheers

Jim

RBs and Power FCs are soul mates.

anything else for a daily driven RB shtr would be blasphemy!

Dont kid yourself Jarman, get a Power FC.

Plug n play, everyone tunes em, drive like factory, retains stock ecu.

Lets say the vehicle in question already has a LT10... and i want to know a little more about it before i purchase it...

Not exactly for my Taxi... i'd go P/FC without a doubt if i was paying for a ECU. yeh i hear you there BigD. Your advice is consistent with everything ive ever heard about RB's.

speak to Tool, Luke, Neil etc, all of them run the ol' Lebtech and they like to smoke bongs to so you will probably find it easy to communicate with them also.

I have the lt8 which is the previous incarnation of lt10 iirc.

I bought it with base map for rb30 and had it retuned fairly cheaply for my setup (rb30e + t04e). Its only a basic tune so its power and cruise are pretty good but in between its a bit fuelly.

The software is pretty shit for microtech.. but once you get the hang of it its not too bad.... but yeah took me a while to get the key combos figured out. I still havent figured out how to save and load maps from dongle or from my dash unit.

bang for buck i think they are pretty good.

I run the LTX12 plug & play which I got out of a totalled R33. Never given me an ounce of trouble! One benifit is you can remove the AFM so you can go bigger on the intake. Only thing that shits me is the cold start, it revs up to about 1800 on start up but that's about it. I would take it to Ovaboost for tuning! Been to Rotamotion but prefer Mick at Ova's!
