Hey Guys,
Heard a rumor the weigh bridge up on Gnangara road is gone (used to be sorta across the road and up a bit from Forparts in landsdale). I have driven past there a number of times recently and thought i was imaging it as gone?
Anyway... are there any other weigh bridges around that you can jump on after hours for free that people know of. Theres a weigh bridge on Great Eastern Highyway across from Guildford Grammar but whenever I got past it late at night they have the chain up. I saw a sign in passing near intersection of Abernathy Rd and Great Eastern Highway Bypass for a weigh bridge but haven't actually located it as yet.
just want to take the bunky over and weigh it... late night mission be the best as its not exactly road legal :)
cheers
- Russ
I don't know of any free weigh bridges in Perth aye. Best one i know of though is just off Collier rd, near the Tonkin hwy lights. It's the Cleanaway Bayswater site... Was pretty cheap when i had my car weighed.. Try that man..

Not sure its all that helpful to you but we've used the weigh bridge at the motorplex a few times when down there racing. I guess you could say its free if you've already paid entry.

Shell in Canningvale has a weigh bridge near their truck pumps. There is a LCD display next to it so you can see how fat your car is. However you can go in and get a ticket but that costs ~$5

Yep,i did the same thing when i needed it for the conversion, when i spoke to the dudes in the know said it may not be 100% so it took it to the one in midland. That thing was made in the 1600's,real old manual scale stuff and the old dude was pretty cool.
I noticed that the two weights were miles off each other.
Weigh bridges stations are in your UBD.
Just go to the tip on Balcatta Rd, Balcatta. Roll onto the weigh bridge, get your weight, and then hook a U-turn straight out the exit.
