I was looking for a similar thing, couldn't find one and ended up getting a whole new catback system (with new resonators and muff). Only managed to drop it like 5db or so though :/ Just enough luckily..

or is it only the cat converter?

ps any exhaust shop will sell silencer eg carline mufflers around 50-70$ pending size

It is if its not screwed in haha. Made that mistake. Thing shot out, luckily no vehciles or peopel behind me.

Most exhaust workshops should have them, if not they should be able to order you one in.

embleton engineering(Unit 8 66 McCoy Street) has knocked up a few for me, if you have trouble finding one you need at a zorst shop. i recall $50 for a 4inch silencer, got over the pits no worries.

they increase the resistance in the system, slowing the air down and there for the noice that comes out the back too
