Very interesting series formula..

-good looking f1 type cars
-v12 engines
-teams are actually soccer teams, so you support who you normally would in soccer, but on the track...

I reckon this is going to be a success - no need to find a niche support base when you know that at least some soccer fans will be into motor sport!

i think this formula owes a lot to A1 GP. it's good that there's more money being thrown at serious racing categories but i think GP2 is still going to be the main feeder series to F1 and categories like this won't really lead anywhere.

that said the idea of the team taking more imporatnce over the driver is pretty relevant in F1 these days and it should still be a good proving ground for the engineers and what not, even though they look to be a bit limited in what they're allowed to change on the cars.

is there any names driving in it that have been around a while or are they mostly new people?
