Well took the r32 down to the drags last night and screwed the clutch up big time :(
Slips heaps now... Anyway looking for some information about different types of clutches and costs. Just want the prices of clutches not installation.
I dont want a on/off style clutch coz its a daily driver (in peak hour traffic) and its fairly laggy so I need to ride the clutch a bit to get it off the line fast. It has to be able to last a fair while as i dont have money to keep replacing the fucking thing and also be able to take a fair amount of punnishment seens after tuning i will probably have between 300-330rwhp.
Also does anyone know where i can get cheap (non-cracked paint) guard rolling done cause the back tyres rub hard core :)

$650 supply only 9 puck cushioned button plate with new uprated pressure plate and thrust bearing.
$850 fitted.
I am sure there are people who will say they can get it cheaper/better/mates rates whatever but we have fitted heaps and they are holding 400 rwhp GTR's so they can't be too bad.
The cushioned bit takes the light switch engagement aspect away from a button clutch.

the extreme 9 button is total drivability
5, 4, 3, paddle clutches all loose that smoothness of introduction
hyperdrive and cred also have rolling tools do it properly or suffer teh tears of cracked paint
off the topic what turbo you got on it

sounds good. u have any in stock or do u have to order them in? i wont be able to get it till after the 24th cause i have uni exams. wat is the pressure plate rated at?
MrMayhem:
Apexi AX53B70 ball bearing, was a little supprise that i didnt know about till the car got here :)
apparently rated at 380hp, fairly laggy. comes on very hard and fast at about 4-4.5k
got 274rwhp @ 1 bar on sst dyno (off the chart rich). planning to run 1.2-1.35 bar with a good tune, but if shit keeps blowing up i might not have the money to do it.

If there not in stock , only 24hrs away usually.
The pressure plate is uprated only slightly but because it's a button , it gives more clamping pressure.
Think of it like having your foot stepped on by a sandshoe ( full faced organic clutch) which has a broad contact area. It hurts but not much.
Now think of a stilletto ( button clutch ) which only has a point contact.
It hurts a fucken lot cos all weight is going through a small area :)
Yes we have a guard rolling tool but absolutely no guarantees the paint won't crack. If the guards have ANY bog in them, been repainted badly, the weathers too hot/too cold , the moon is not not in alliance yadayada then it will probably happen.
We try our best ( as we always do for any customer ) but as I said , no guarantees.
