I have a Kenwood in car dvd player, and Id like to see if I can hook a GPS system, like mavman, tomtom etc up to it.
I want to try and get away from another monitor in the cramped car.
The monitor is touch screen, so maybe that can be used?
Anyway, is it possible?

No chance. Even if you find a GPS unit that has a TV output to connect to your screen, how will you control the touchscreen functions on it?

Only one I have heard of.. uses a wireless remote control for input.

I have a kenwood kvt 747, seems a little older han the ones listed, gotta try find out if it would suit.

Howdy,
You will have some difficulty connecting a portable Nav system to your Kenwood deck, however I do have external navigation systems that will connect in with your screen and also work with the Touch screen controls on your deck.
PM me if you're interested... I can also demonstrate one working in my own car.
