My AU falcon (2000 model series 2) has really stiff windows... They are electric but struggle to wind up when it has been humid or raining. On hot days its better but not too great. Ive been told to use Graphite Powder, doesnt work that well. Ive also used a dry lubricant made for cables on bikes etc.. not great either.

Ive had this problem in my VL commodore before, so bad I broke a window regualator trying to wind up... arrrrrrghh :(

any suggestions? im sure someone else has had this problem. Windows were fine when i bought the car in Feb 2002.

Me old 180sx was a dream with the elec windows.. no problems there :)

if its only when it rains it will be the seal the water creates on the rubbers around the glass. it could also be that the motor is failing, or the window has fallen out of alighnment.

try silicon lube between the window and the seal general quik fix for most winding up probs

I tried silicon stuff before, only works for a few days, same as the dry lube.
Its driving me nuts.. worse in the rain but its also crap when dry

I was thinkin getting some motor oil and squirting down the tracks, not heaps of course
