I think carmageddon was loosely based on the original Death Race 2000 movie with sylvester stallone in it sort of mid 80s. Want to see this one, looks good. Jason Statham is a pretty good actor.

Carmageddon was the best fun. Can't believe the amount of people who HAVEN'T heard of it, or played it.

Ok i am admiting how old i am here.

But i played the original death race game on pc. Was one of the best car games of all time. Along with street rod.

Could be a bombed movie if done well.

I've got a copy of this on DVD somewhere, and althou it's B-grade at best, I love it.

Keen to see the new one.

Statham is a shit actor and has been type casted because of it, but he is entertaining enough in the usual tough guy role he attracts.

Looks like an awesome movie indeed! To be released in Aus 30th October...

Statham isn't the best actor out there, but the types of roles he plays suit him very well, and he does them well enough for me to like most of his movies :)
