Where: Barbagallo Raceway
When: From 6pm, 14 August 2008.
More info: www.nolimitevents.com

Alot of antilag members have used the No Limits weekday track nights as a great way to legally test the limits of car and driver. Along with tuition from the guys at Trackskill on hand, its a great night for beginners to get out there.

Club track greats like Chris260, Evo Stevo, Brockas, addicted.to.speed, Evilteddy, JME and others frequent this event.

hmmmm... i'll have a chat to the boss and see if I can get the time off... all these track days, rallys, tuning arvos, workshop drop offs, parts trips etc are taking a fair chunk out of my owed time off.

I'm in if I can get the time off.

Rob

Yeah really good mix of cars and some good times set.

Anyone see Brett's Pulsar run?

Those brakes glowed harder then anything I've ever seen in my life.

That looks pretty porn.

Where is Steve's name on the Natsoft Timing? Am I going blind, or is he not there?

What happened to Chris Reynolds? Surely the best time of 34mins isn't right??

Nice work to those who went.

Brockas
15-08-2008, 11:46 AM
Steve wasn't on the timing list because he was just testing the car. Didn't want a transponder.

Chris kept blowing the same cooler pipe off every time he went out, so drove Glen's car for a bit.

34 min for one lap in a NA GTR is not too bad.......Next time out I should be able to better it.

Thanks to Glenn for letting me have a drive of his weapon, it took the fire out of my bad mood because my bucket of orange flem had let me down.

Fair nuff. Good to hear the problems weren't serious Chris.

was an awesome nite. was good to such a wide variety of cars there. for the first time out there with nexen tyres and stock turbo i was happy with a 59.84.

Brockas
15-08-2008, 02:35 PM
So you should be.

Thats a damn quick time for street tyres and RWD....

Evilteddy
15-08-2008, 03:11 PM
Fuck me... that's the fastest RWD on streets now...

Is that a rb25det setup? or still an rb20?

Butla
15-08-2008, 03:39 PM
its an rb25 with the stock turbo. makes about 265rwhp. Coilovers, 2way and camber arms in the rear, thats about it. will def have to try some r-comps next time. Do they ever run the long curcuit on these nights? And Brockas i cant believe how late you were braking into cat, unreal. balls of steel

TJ
15-08-2008, 03:44 PM
They run long track when it gets to summer and there is light for a few hours.

Brute
15-08-2008, 03:45 PM
Long track is run when daylight savings kicks in.

BOSS 290
15-08-2008, 08:08 PM
Excellent, will give me some time to get the ute sorted out. The long track is fun to do...I remember running 60.35 short track in the F6 on street tyres when it was 42 Deg during a Tickford Club sprint day. Blew the intercooler hose off on my first lap on the long track :(

I think the SP will have more potential and be less highly strung than the F6 was.
