For sale: 1970 MkII Austin Mini Cooper S-spec (Manual, right hand drive)
Item Condition: Good. A quick little car that indeed draws attention to itself (in a good way). And cheap on petrol!!

Extra Info: As stated above the car is of S-specifications. The car is not intended to be a Cooper S replica, more like it's a regular mini with all the running gear of the superior Cooper S.

- 1275cc bored out to 1400cc
- Weber side draft carb

- New paint job. Red with gold sparkle (comes out in the sunlight) White roof and white racing stripes on bonnet. Very traditional mini.

Not sure about the box... What you mean by second?... Are the gears different ratios in the S-box?

Suspension i'm not sure of either. Bit's firm as all f**k! I'll check and get back to ya..

yeah, Cooper S gearbox had a longer 2nd, cant remember the ratio exactly off the top of my head, or how may teeth it had. Were a touch stronger also.
