sikaflex is the best silicon style shit u can buy - not sure if its the best for this application though - is messy as fuck to work with 2
You used selleys all clear? wtf!
Sikaflex or nothing!!
I disassembled my Work 3-piece rims, but didn't have to reseal them, as I deflated the tyres and kept them on the rims when I removed the centres....the two outer halves didn't come apart at all.
P.S. go here for more info on how to do it properly..

Has a video you can download that shows you how to do it.

^ Hey Balistc
my mate was telling me 2 ask you cause he said u had done them before, haha random...
anyway now that i think about it that would have been a good idea cause i could have done the same with my rims but guess its to late now...
called alliance rim repair n they said 30 bucks per rim to reseal them, i might give the sikaflex a go first n if i still dont have any luck then go to alliance.
but as iluv2moan said its pretty messy 2 work with as ive used it before any pointers on how not to fuck it up ... and is it just the normal black sikaflex you would use ?
Cheers dude help is much appreciated

Yeah, normal black sikaflex...make sure its the type thats compatible with alloys though.
No dramas, its great fun DIY'ing if you do it properly...so enjoy and learn :) If all else fails, $120 is fark all to get it done professionally.

Best way to work with sikaflex if you dont want to be messy and want to create a nice even smooth bead. Spit on your finger and wipe, it sounds rank but watch the sika glide under your finger........

Cheers again for your help everyone...
