What are you expecting to get from the rebuilt monster? 55?

But its better to have it sorted before hand - the more time you waste in the office the less is spent on track.

Practise. I'll be going gentle on it so I (hopefully) don't break anything before Dutton, and my co-driver gets a go out there.

Dont know a lot about dutton - but will you hit boost at all that weekend? Thinking whether the chooky is a practical car for it or not..

Considering its Motorplex + Collie + Wanners I'm guessing yes.

Don't be all talk Richard, hurry up and enter Dutton.

Do you remember what driving the chook is like or will you have to ask Steve? hahaha

Lol.. I am not entering Dutton this year, and probably not next year.

The chooky is resting.. its done it job for now.

ps. I asked Steve, he said its still awesome to drive. Can you remember what the whale is like to drive? No "call a friend" option there.

pps. At no limits don't break your car again again again.

It usually doesn't fill up until a few days before.

There are also plenty of quick FWD N/A's that compete there.
Spektors mivec lancer and Sena's Type R are doing 60 seconds IIRC?
Wanneroo definitely favours high power cars, what times have you run there before / expecting?

haha was just kidding, happy to give it a run and see how it goes. Plenty of time to be gained at the driver end of things.

In the old pulsar (light mods, ~130hp atw) did a 1:09 on a very wet night.

Now pushing ~170hp atw, better brakes, better ratio'd gearbox and an LSD hope to do a bit better, but wont really know until i take this one out.

Is this still on tonight even though its raining?

Brockas
10-07-2008, 10:51 PM
OF COURSE!!

That was just awesome :D

There were only about 10 cars who braved it. Cornsey was the marshall for the night and sometimes there was so much track time he just let cars keep going round until a queue formed in the pits.

Absolutely brilliant night.
