Things to see/do in phuket

Hi All over in phuket on honeymoon. Any suggestions on things we should go do/see?

We are doing phi phi island tour, elephant farm & fantasia dinner. Here for another 6 days so suggestions would be good

if you want a really really nice dinner get a tuk tuk driver to take you to the boathouse in kata.
My misses loved it she reconned it was hell romantic I just got wasted so wat eva lol

-can definately recommend the phi phi island tour. awesome scenes but take plenty of sunscreen.
-go to the shooting range there, expensive but if you've never fired a gun before, here's your chance - it's pretty sweet.
-me and my mate checked out the go-karts there; there's two tracks.. go to the bigger one; you can really stretch the karts there... they fly, dude

Patong is the place to be for partying. if you are there, check the Banana Bar(discoteque); it's pretty much the place to be for westerners, barely any slapper thais, clean, good music but kinda small.

check out Bangla road (also in Patong); very good for a laugh. probably the sleaziest place in Phuket for sure. Thai girls(+boys) will probably try to steal you from your missus but it's got 2 good aussie bars opposite each other which is welcoming.

ummm.. don't shake the indian suit-salesmens' hands; they're grab ya and drag ya into their shop. impossible to escape!

definatly phi phi island and like mentioned before take plenty of sunscreen and go jetsking in patong good fun and not that expensive. Quad bikes are sick!!! and definatly go to most of the other islands james bond etc etc and u have to go snorkeling good fuin apart from i nearly drowned haha have fun!!!

The "Green man" has good food and beer if you get sick of the local stuff and need a aussie steak.

Phuket is fucking awesome been there twice.

Shooting range is awse you literally get handed a gun and pointed to teh shooting range. I did a pump action shotgun and a .45 colt pistol ( i think its called the magnum pistol )

Go karts are alright and the off road karts are awesome at start but boring as bat shit by end

Food wise i recommend trying the buffalo steak house. Steaks there are mint. Boat house and dino's are awesome ( dinos is also called the flinstone restaurant i think :S )

Night clubs - Banana disco is usually full of foreigners and then it closes at like 2 i think and you go to the taipan ( i think its not to far )


Jet skiing is cheap as shit

Oh and make sure you do the ATV ( quad bikes ) fucking awesome fun.

nvm i found it, amazing what happens when you look at a map.

Going on a 1/2 day dive today, dont know where got the hotel to organise it.

Also for future refererence if you want a really nice place to stay i cant recommend Movenpick Resort & Spa enough, very nice and staff are awesome

A few suggestions:

Bangla Road

Tiger Bar/Disco (that whole alley way) -less seedy hookers.

Go to Soi Crocodile, D-Club, and Rock Nude (look out for the HUGE-ass female pimp selling hot thai girls)

I did a Phi Phi Island tour on the boat "Song Thai" which is a whole day cruise including breakfast/lunch/dinner, its a bit more than a speedboat tour. but an awesome day.

FantaSea is also good to show, it's kinda like Cirque'du'soleil.

Oh, and get a TukTuk to drive you through Phuket Town (about 30mins away) its scary as f*ck.

Oh and goto the Phuket Zoo.. See the lion handler with ONE F*CKING ARM! - Ask him how he lost it..... ;)

South of Patong I believe, you'll see signs advertising it on the main road south out of the town. On the way to the zoo IIRC :)
