After leaving us used up, danced out, exhausted but ecstatic with their unmistakable guitar-infused electro clash sound during Parklife 2007, MSTRKRFT are coming back bigger and better and are ready to make us go MTHRFCKING CRZY once again!
Not since Parklife 2007 has Perth had the opportunity to see one of the biggest names behind the electro clash rock merger on our shores – MSTRKRFT are here and are ready to up the ante with their mask wearing, gyrate inducing, whisky-loving Canadian ways, their genre bashing sounds have earned them a cult like following worthy of their electronic experimentation.
Their debut album The Looks, featured instant hits Easy Love, Work on You, Paris and Street Justice, and complementing what was regarded by many as one of the finest dance albums in years were phenomenal remixes for the likes of Bloc Party, Wolfmother, The Kills, Armand Van Helden, Metric, Chromeo, Goose and The Gossip – a body of work that gave these Ontarian lads a one-way ticket to electronic royalty with the likes of Justice, Soulwax and Digitalism.
