How much power can a nissan auto box thats used on stagea (ok 4wd) or R33 handle ?

any common weaknesses ?

dunno if u read it, but zoom mag have been talking about these auto boxes lately.
apparantly they are quite strong, however require a shift kit if chasing decent power as the drawn out change wears them out.
read up in next time u in a newsagent

yeh i actually have that edition. was a decent read. i cant remember everything tho as it was a late read. might polish up on it again

The best people to talk to are MV autos in adelaide who are doing shift kits or Keas autos in vic or BMS (powershift)in sydney who make all sorts of internals like billet full manual shifting reverse pattern valve bodies with transbrakes,stonger shafts,modified hubs to accept more clutches,uprated servos,steel planetry sets,clutch pack overdrives,stud kits,uprated clutches and bands etc.An auto setup properly is like antilag.

yeh MV's was the shop of choice for that zoom project. problem is their location
