Peoples, quick question if you can help.
S2 R33 box, S13 pedals etc, exedy extreme clutch.
Got in the taxi this morning, quick pedal down to the deli...
its seems ive got that clutch squeek that we all know. everytime i engage clutch... SQUEEK!
what has me worried, relatively new clutch and the friction throughout engage seems dryer? if that makes sense.
could this be a clutch master/slave cylinder issue coming to light?
Havent had a problem up until now, maxima copped a couple of beatings throughout the week, hoping to diagnose before it lets go.

dont really understand what you mean by dryer?
is the clutch point different?
or not engaging smoothly?

yeh 'dryer' doesn't help anyone lol
friction point seems further away and is more abraisive when engaging. feels less assisted.
vague sort of enquirey i know, im thinking its master cylinder leak?
not the end of the world, but was thinking about going hard on it tonight.

if it feels less assisted
could be master/slave cylinder leaking or leaking brake booster or leak in brake booster line
if its slave just chuck new o-rings/seals in there and it should be fine
first port of call is slave cylinder
my experience is they leak first
with the s13 clutch pedal
they tend to flex a bit with heavy duty clutches(i.e. heavy pressure plates) and eventually break.

Legend, much thanks Sir.
Yeh research leans towards the slave aswell.
Hopefully the pedals should hold up, thats good to know.

Check the clutch cylinder fluid levels as well.
Also try some grease on the clutch pedal box to stop the squeak.
If you find the pedal box is fairly weak... maybe take it out and weld it all up good and propper.
