ive got a 13hp genset & im thinking of having it so i can plug it into my meter box to power the house when grid is down, i know it needs an isolation switch so it doesnt back feed into the grid, but is that something you would quote on?

lol! love the honesty lol! nah thanks mate, i get in the shit enough from work alone not including the police if I wire it up. p.s I would be careful with setting it up, it draws a little bit more power than what you think, let alone the heat it puts out. The police choppers are set up to go over the houses to look for those "hot spots" that the hydros draw out.

or just put it near bathroom and they'll assume you've got the heat lamps on and you just got out of the shower :) with a decent cooling fan/extraction fans you probably wouldn't have too much heat.. probably..

Gotta put 'em on a cycle though. 18 hours under lights 8 off.. probably. Power also cheaper at night..
