FMX snaps

mate of mine has one of the only true FMX training compounds in the state, complete with foampit, dirt hits and ramps. Got invited out for a look yesterday, they only had a 30-40 minute ride as it started getting dark but i managed to snap a few shots... This was my first time a. with a digital SLR (canon eos 40d?) and b. shooting this type of sport. Learnt alot, couldnt work out how to turn off auto focus so i lost alot of good shots to the unfocus monster but i'll remember for next time. heres a couple of the better ones. These are all unedited so far, and uncropped

Yeh new he was flipping into the pit, thought that might of been him on dirt, He's gonna be stoked when he does on dirt. And btw its cam that was at garys house a few sundays ago after metros;)

i dont have to worry about that, my house is directly across from dirt track which leads into dunes haha...

75foot is the standard freestyle jump distance for aust comps, or so i am lead to believe.

my cousin has a similar type setup, foam pit, many ramp jumps and dirt ones tooo. there are a few places like this joshuareee.

so of the shit these pingpingpingpings do in the air is mental.

It's exactly what it is, a pit full of foam.

Its used to practice tricks, so instead of trying a flip onto dirt and breaking your neck first try, you try it in a foam pit.
