ok been noticing some weird as problems with my chaser recently

this could of been a result of a bad batch of fuel ( i filled up on vortex, please dont shun me )

anyway when i left the servo and started up it immediatly had a problem keeping a stable idle (probally shifting from 200-800rpm contionusly) this has occoured a few times, which is rather concerning - i rang my dad and asked him and he diagnosed it as a air bubble in my fuel line (i filled up when i was on E) but even now occasionally on start up it has trouble keeping a stable idle

also noticed TWICE today what seemed like a 'blackout' in my car, for a split second all electronics in my car switched off, dash board lost illumination, dials dropped, cd player switched off then all of a sudden 'reset'

i did not notice anything differnt with the engine, but it lost power and regained it that quickly it was hard to tell, i could only really tell by the cd player switching off and having to read the cd again, and the dials more or less 'flashing' at me as they swept down and then back up.

any ideas?

^^ +1

the "blackout" is more than likely an electical problem, probably just a bad connection on the battery, take the Terminals off give them a quick clean and make sure they are tight.

Check your battery terminals out, if they have built up white deposits, hit em with kettle water (it gets rid of the acid buildups), Then take to the posts with a wire brush or some emry paper. Do the same with the terminals. And replace

Check your main ground, it will be somewhere near your battery. Black, and it bolts to the body. Check for security and or frayed wires ect ect.

Do those two things, and then come back to us. They are the easiest and most common. After this your looking at dodgey main fuse, more earths, or junction box's
