Finding it very hard to justify the dollars for it when they consistently run so far behind schedule

Some of the instructors tend to make the event alot less enjoyable than it could be as well

Bwahaha
It'll be there soon enough.. few financial obligations to sort out first.
You don't know the meaning of the word understeer till you have been in a GTi-R.. even the slowest corner with a sharp turn in = massive amounts of squeal.

Isn't the 17th April a one on one night? $600 or something.
Yeah you might be right, I'll wait for some clarification.

Yes, that's correct.
Next normal event is in June! I'm hoping they dump the 1 on 1 idea and make it a normal event, i'm sure they'll get numbers given it's a fair wait till June.

Eitherway the track is booked for next week so something will have to happen then. I haven't been told if it'll change back to a normal night but i do believe there isn't the numbers for the 1 on 1.
I'll try chase the details up on that.

If you wish to, send me a pm with who your referring to and i'll see if i can sort out any problems.
I don't have the most power in the organisers but I like to do what I can to help people to enjoy the events.
I'm still working on the schedule thing.

no one could possibly be quicker then him
gets payed (insert varying dollar number here) per hour to teach people how to drive.
your shit if you own a 4wd, your just cheating to go quick

I got that but thought there were others that were a problem.
And that is probably the only place where I can't do anything. But I'll do what I can.
Yeah, appreciate its hard to make changes in that regard.

lets see now.. Ben J did a faster lap time than him in the same car on the same night in the same conditions AND last time he came off the track. Surely these 2 points should be enough to tackle the problem (Especially the second point - taking someone car off the track that was not mechanical error) He should concentrate on staying on the track before he bags 4wds. (He obviously can afford one as he gets paid $100 billion an hour for instructing - just ask him).
Honestly, how did he become an instructor?

Brett the best way to make people enjoy the events is to get the powers to be to turn up on time so we get the advertised time on the track.
Its a bit rude slugging people $150 for the night and then robbing you of anything up to an hour of track time, because organisers cant organise, and cant tell the time.

x2. This is much more important that bagging fogz.
Goes both ways guys - often there is people rocking up at 6.15...
Ive said this numerous times - two drivers briefings - one at 5.30, and one at 6.20 or so.
Why should 20 people who make it on time have to wait around for people who cant/wont/dont make it on time?

True. But my main beef is that they ask you to get there 4.30 - 5.00 to get scruitineered and sign on, they turn up at 5.30 - 6.00, your car gets scruitineered, you line up for half an hour while Tracy gets her shit together, then have a sermon for 1/2 an hour and then your late on track, and it happens everytime.
Time to look around at other events.

I understand what's being said.
Except for the last event I have had scruitineering covered as I get there by 430-5.
Time to look around at other events.
Like what?
Plenty of tune days come up at the track through WASCC
then we could go Fast and the Furious spec close roads off and jump bridges :)

Untimed.
I dont think there is any other event which is run in the same config as this...
Fogs is a decent driver, but fuck he can be condescending at times.
Plus, writing up something you've thought of in quote form and putting "FOGZ" underneath it is possibly the gayest thing I've ever seen.

For those interested in the event next week, i've been told it'll be staying as a 1 on 1 event.
Thanks Brett, keep us up to date for the next one mate.

If anyone is doing an untimed test/tune day, you are welcome to borrow my Performance Box (GPS lap timer). This is accurate to within 0.1s of the Natsoft timing.
For a 6 pack I'll even overlay your laps on a Google Earth background lol
