much better than your factory sr20de/det gear. Mines certainly not afraid of revs.

sr20vet comes from a JDM xtrail, only has VVL on the intake cam
most guys take the sr16/20ve head (with VVL on both cams) and slap it onto an sr20det making a hybrid.
In this case, wouldnt care about the VVL, just better valvetrain.

Thats marks car. Has the vvl setup with n1 cams so sounds pretty gay until the vvl kicks in at 4k so at idle its like stock cams. His old det head used to rev to 11500 so id say this will do the same just more reliable. They plan to run the car on the weekend so will be interesting to see how it goes first time out as they are aiming for 6 sec once sorted. They can run the big 80mm turbo at the moment but have to step back to a 70mm for there class when the season starts.

Went 8.2@165 taking the scenic route during licensing last night. They hope to get it into the 7's with some chassis tuning for qualifying tonight and eliminations tomoro night. Will post some vids as soon as they come thru.

The Mazworx s15 ran a 7.63@169 on the second outing. Still a long way off there 6 sec goal but it still has plenty left in it.
