Who watched the race at Qatar? Firstly, engineering masterpiece to get that amount of light on that track, 5.4 MILLION kilowatts of power to get it lit up... We pay 10c per kilowatt/hour from western power, that would make it 540k USD per hour to run those things!!! Crazy money.
Stoner rode like an absolute superstar, never once looked in danger of giving up the race... rossi rode consistant but just couldnt hold off a far quicker pedrosa, he needs to get some speed out of that M1 yamaha to be competitive this year. Big props to 250cc champion and Motogp debutante jorge lorenzo placing second on debut, with Toseland the sbk champion in the top ten on debut as well. With such competitive racing in a first race meeting im really looking forward to seeing how this season pans out
