...is entered for the Westernationals.
8 second SR20 ute, might be worth a look for those Nissan fan boys :P
Robert Gaikhorst in the 120Y, Jose Jardim's RB30 Torana and Phil Purser's 2JZ Commodore are also entered, not to mention the Glover's Pro RWD RX7 in Comp.

It's certainly a neat car, the latest Extreme Street has a feature on it.
The event is on March 1 and 2. The event schedule isn't out yet, when it comes out I will let you know when the Super Sedan qualifying sessions are on.

Small huffer on that !!

Was it an SR oil pump ?
I would have thought it would be dry sumped.

Got some nice bonnet spacing going on there too.

I bet it had a solid pulley on the front and broke the oil pump.

not a good idea is it guys as i had a friend of a friend of a friend that was going to put one of those gfb pulleys on his sr, so its a no go or what, and what is the reasons please

Every sr ive seen or heard about that has broken an oil pump had a gfb pulley on it. I have a few sr's here at the moment all suffering broken oil pumps all with gfb pulleys. I keep 5 pumps in stock for this reason. Not only do the pumps suffer from bad harmonics but also the bearings. The factory use harmonic balancers for a reason. They help control crankshaft whip/twist thats caused by firing cylinders. As a 4 cylinders firing is spaced further apart than a 6 or v8 they can tend to cop more of this pulsing effect than a 6 or v8 but having a shorter crank than a straight 6 and a stronger crank design than a v8 help against twist and harmonic problem. Personally I would stick with the factory item or if a motor is destined to run under 11 seconds you have to change to an ANDRA approved item like the Ross metal jacket or ATI harmonic balancers. Both the ross and ati have good lifetime style warranties. Its quite normal to see a rb26 with 100,000 k's on it with a completely flogged out balancer which shows how hard these things get worked.
