who has the balls/time/brain to tune my adaptronic

ok not sure if ppl have heard of the "adaptronic ecu" tis standalone to suit the 1uzfe engine, as some ppl might know there is hardly anything out aftermarket to suit the 1uz so when this came up i snapped it up.

Not thinking, i now have the problem of who would tune it in w.a.

I know most people are not going to want to even touch it, though have been told "any reasonable tuner" should be able to do it. its the fact that the tuners dont know what it is, and they want to stick to things they know and do.

xspeed and cypher were a "no go"

but have heard mick at ovaboost might be willing to give it a go, though if you call hes workshop goes straight to machine saying hes busy as.

Sean at ASG might be a go, RRob may be interested?, Lumpy might be able to give it a bash... not sure if he's still at HyperDrive....

I know the guy who is part of the development (Jason) via BMW's :).... let me know how you go as I'm running something "out of the ordinary" as well, but I'm intending to DIY.

Have you tried the Adaptronic site/forum?

This is supposed to be a pretty good ECU and quite a few 1UZ guys are running it, you should be able to get a base tune and i believe it has some self-learning capability?

Zacka from Cypher will tune it , he is due to tune a friends motor in a couple of weeks and my own in hopefully not too long. both of us are using the e420c.

I do know about the site/forum as i posted it in my first post, though it doesnt help me as i have no idea about tuning. Though i will pass this site on to the tuner.

as u stated, yes its suppose to be a good ecu and the 1uz boys having been giving good rep about it, hence why i got it.

i have Cruizida/peewee on my msn - hes been my 1uz guru, and from memory hes running a microtech

ovaboost is moving premises and ringing them by phone never gets thru, best to go there yourself :)
