Lots of people had dramas with these in the early days..
Unsure if they have improved.. Personally I think its worth spending a little extra and getting a higher quality product or a second hand quality Jap brand.

pretty shoddy build quality, lots of them require rebuilding.
the "24 way adjustable damping" is more like 4 way.
spend a bit more and get some Tein's.

probably sponsored, so doesnt care if they break every round, nor care about compliance

Ive used G4 (same same)
1. I went through 2 inserts in the space of 5000km.
2. They were way to hard, the valving of the insert is all wrong if you want to use low profile tyres.
3. They have good adjustability for show, but for street like blake said, hard harder even harder and rock is the settings you get.
I had to go d2/g4/ksport as no other company makes coils for my car. Ive since sold them for kyb + whiteline/eibach
Snaped front right travelling 65km down welshpool road , got it replaced rear snapped going into jb hi fi car park :( gave up on coilovers all together built a lowrider instead
I wouldn't run D2 coilovers in my car, even if someone paid me to do so.

long story short if you need coilies for a car that the japs dont make suspension for.... ie lasers and weirdos then d2 would be the way to go.
but then i take that back as i wouldnt promote anything made in china in crucial points like suspension or fuel systems.
Owain can be the guinea pig, and im sure people are diong just fine with them, but if you can get the jap stuff why settle for second best

lol exactly, nobody makes coilovers to suit a 2wd laser :) so one of the forum members sent some stock suspension to racing logic who made the coilovers up.
ive had no problems yet, then again im not taking them racing etc :)

pro's: they are inexpensive and can make your car look lower (if indeed, these things are important to you).
cons: the ride is extremely hard to the point of skittish handling and the long term quality of them questionable.
