Our previous hosting was dismal, coming out of the US the reliability was terrible.

We've now changed to Westnet, local here in Perth.


There may be some more downtime in the next couple of days as we resolve issues with our database, but apart from that it should be more reliable and quicker.

would the transfer of host explain the dissapearing of posts. then them randomly coming back later on. i posted up a thread aswell... but now its gone?

Yup.

The database was copied from one host to another.

Then the DNS was transfered.

So posts in between that time would have disappeared...


It's much better than the 3 days downtime it took last time we did this.

They've told me it's a reccurent theme on here, something to do with the "TJ" factor?

no they didnt go missing they were deleted, as per every other persons posts in regards to thread bumping,gls etc
