can pick up a 33 four door turbo for fuck all over 10k these days
why would you want to spend all the money buying a commo and then doing conversion?
would have the same motor, but not the build quality, handling, braking etc that the skyline has

Nothing outhandles a VR commo, it has radial tuned suspension man !!!!

VR/VL crossmember is common? RB mounts go staright on the VL crossmember? Most good workshops should be able to handle it..

ha ha you guys are all so funny! If i wanted a skyline i would have kept my old 32gtr but hey just because i want to drive something different thats a bad thing. I was going to put the rb26 i still have into a vl but im going to wait till i get the 2.8l stroker kit for it. And i think there are to many skylines in perth as it is im not a sheep i prefer to be different

Id hardly call driving a VR something different. Granted a different engine but the thing will still look like a VR

im fairly sure i saw a white VR ute running an RB25 with antilag stickers on it awhile back at the drags...??
RB25 conv did 12's??? cheaper than doing it with a 5.0/3.8. As long as you dnt have dilussions of circut work its not a massively hard conv... have a crak at it...
coversion 8k+
getting it to run a 12? $fuck.knows

Obviously knows his stuff... nice ute.. nicer 32.
jus sayn if the guy wants to do it why not... i may be out of whak on my conversion pricing, i do my own stuff... but a VR with a nice turbo set up is fairly indivdual ride in my book.
as aside having had a few 5.0's making them do 12's wouldnt leave much changefrm 8k

I think the guys name is Steve and if your that desperate for it PM me your mobile and I will pass it on. I think it might be sold, If MrSparkle comes on he will know more. The car is actually engineered pretty well, it was built in the pre china days so everything on it is quality.
