Been having dramas with the forums ever since the downtime can we politely tell the current host to go fuck themselves as they obviously are incompetent.
Cheers.

Can you wait a week or so? fucking so impatient.
The owner is away on holidays, there's not alot he can fucking do while not in the country.

How about someone fucking replies to say they are on it? Is that too fucking hard? And i doubt the owner can fix it anyway apart from making a phone call which isnt fucking difficult no matter where you are is it?

Well i'm sorry that alot of the admins are busy and don't have alot of time to spend their time during the day to answer queries, especially over the holiday period, where they might not even be at home.
Some of us still work during this slack period for others.
It's not as easy as making a phone call, to change server hosts you have to actually setup so they can transfer the data between the hosts.
If you're on holidays do you really feel like doing anything other than relaxing and enjoying yourself? You don't really want to worry about an internet forum for a few days. Sure he's been on but he doesn't want to worry about the specifics of it.
Lighten up, it's a fucking forum, a few days... WHO CARES.

I didnt mean make a call to change servers but make a call to the current host to say wtf is going on, they may not even be aware of the problem if nobody has called.
I was light till you bitch posted.

Mark, I'll worry about it when I get home. Can you wait 2 days?
Everytime someone raises an issue I email the host and bitch until they do something about it. Then when I threaten to move they tell me they're doing something which is going to make it perfect etc etc.
I wont be making international phone calls to servers to set up a data transfer while I'm on holiday.

I didnt think you were the only one with control and the resources to call the host. If that is the case then yes 2 days isnt an issue. I also already said I didnt expect you to organise a change of host while youre away.
Cheers.

ii have never had one issue with dreamhost in5 years...
but it is a coincidence that whenever i upload mass amounts of data to my server and then add it to my gallery the antilag forum fucks itself....
no idea why, theoretically the sql database is on different servers, but something isnt right.,...

I seriously doubt anyone spends all day on here, its the time they do spend on here that they would like it to run normally.

An e-mail has been sent to our current host requesting our data be transfered to a host here in WA.
I'm trying to switch hosts without any downtime, but I don't know how successful that's going to be...

Awesome, some downtime will be worth the more reliable server.
Cheers.

There will be a little downtime depending on how quickly current ShitHost takes down there DNS records and your new one puts them back up :D
