Just curious, why is this a good upgrade for a RB20.

Can they boost harder then 12-14 psi?

from memory its a larger front wheel, larger rear wheel and larger rear housing.
It has a lighter front wheel alowing faster spool up and on a rb20 isnt laggy and makes a fair bit more power than the std little rb20 snail.
Run 14 in it all day and it would hammer a fair wack more top end ect.

i had this on my rb20 with other bolt ons, made 260 rwhp. definately a good buy for a rb20 owner wanting some more power.

straight bolt on upgrade, will work with standard water/oil lines and bolts upto your existing dump pipe.

what about the standard intercooler? can it be boosted on this?

and when u say "bolt on" do you mean litterally?

pretty much direct bolt on any mechanic could do it fairly quickly.
with the std intercooler u will be limited with how much boost you could run but it will still make more power. but with prices of cooler kits so cheap as seen on these forums you would be silly not to add one to the list of your mods... cooler and this turbo ...add some boost and it will be a totaly different animal

dude to be honest not sure how many k's on it got as it is never got around to fitting it looking at the condition i wouldnt think it was very high km.
and no this one isnt the one of tiesto's car this is off a stocker and never been boosted ect before.
its virgin like.
excellent upgrade over stocker or even a r33 snail.

you need to do a small mod to inlet pipe when upgrading, it still makes a huge improvement even with stock cooler
mine made 232rwhp @ 5750rpm on .8 bar
can see where cooler ran out of efficiency as there was a huge power drop
added a front mount not long after and pulled hard all the way to limiter
cheap and worthwhile upgrade
