Looks very nice. Like all imports, you can't be exactly sure what it has until it arrives.

and take it easy planning on mods, because when it gets here, costs tend to increase exponentially ;) take it from me.

I dont have the right personality for importing a car im too impatient and fuck I want it here now already!

i hear they are back onto side intrusion bars again (not 100%)
WRCjosh
14-09-2004, 02:09 PM
side intrusion is mandatory. however, pits are becoming slack. Hypothetically, if i HADNT of done my mirrors (concave to flat) and fuel filler restrictor, they would never have known because they didnt check. Hypothetically of course. Yes of COURSE i did that stuff, youd be silly not to............. /me looks around nervousley.

but u have to get a raw workshop to sign off on all that shit now anyways, workshops wouldnt be stupid enough to sign off on something that isnt done and risk loosing their licence.
WRCjosh
14-09-2004, 06:10 PM
yes but mine was imported when u didnt need to have that sign off crap

mine is due to land sometime in the next few weeks.
I'm in melbourne though and the compliance shit here is harder than back in perth.
cited by a mate who does compliance for importers:
side intrusion bars
fuel restrictor
child restraint points on the shelf
change mirrors
.. and a few other little things which I can't remember off the top of my head

That is the same for Perth.
You have to change the rubber too, no 255 for you
karag
15-09-2004, 07:36 AM
don't have to change the rubber on a 15 year. some places do but it's not required.
(pretty sure anyway)
SimonR32
