Transformers DVD lock rant

OK, so my girlfriend gets me the Transformers DVD. w00t, all is good.

Get home, get it out of the first layer of packaging, then out of the box, and the case itself has got a little red padlock symbol. Can't get the friggin thing open, do a quick google and it is some security thing on it? WTF!?

So now I have to take it back to get it unlocked FFS.

No wonder people pirate shit. You buy the real thing and you're made to feel like a criminal just opening it. Do all DVDs have this now?

Use a strong magnet to slide the security tab out and across.

when we started the pre-order campaign for transformers there was a kool limited edition version that the case itself folds out 2 be a transformer, its not the quality of a real transformer and pretty corny, but still is awesome, only transforming DVD case ever! :P
Oh the 720p version is awesome too, High Def Megan Fox....damn :D

Yeah, the store is supposed to unlock the DVD before you buy it. By the sounds of it, the idiotic no-brain shop assistant forgot to do so!!!

haha useless crabs, they did that with the boxing gloves i bought last week, got to boxing and went to put them on to spar, and the fucking securiting/ink tab was still on the left glove!

I have a spare clear dvd case if you need it afterwards.
