Hey all, I am currently driving a '92 180SX (DET) just trying to find a decent price and quality install, including cutting of bumper, polished stainless steel. I have been quoted by 'Cypher Industries' $1050 complete.
If anyone can help on a cheaper alternative (apart from DIY), it would be great.
Thanks :)
if that's including the intercooler, then that price is good but otherwise try xspeed, www.xspeed.com.au, have seen neat stainless pipework by them.
or try hyperdrive

At the end of the day , for most things you get what you pay for , but 1050 is a great price i dont think you can beat (certainly a price i woulnd be able to go near)

for stainless thats pretty good
a lot of places charge similar or a bit less for mild steel
Mild steel should be a criminal offence .

What makes you think DIY and backyarding it is so dodgey? a TIG weld is only as good as the person who does it. You can get the whole job done for less than a workshop will charge you in materials.
