Butterfly Effect
Didnt appeal to me at first, mainl because i thought it was a teen horror flick and the other reason was because Ashton Kutcher is in it. Worst "actor" (if you want to call him that.. i know i cant). Dude Wheres my car wasnt funny, That 70s show wasnt funny and he stole Demi Moore from me. Anyway, enough of that clown. A few friends saw it and said it was pretty good.. i didnt listen because they also thought Lord of the Rings was one of the greatest movies ever. Anyhow, some other friends saw it and said it was good so i finally decided to get it out (probably because nothing else was there at the time.) I didnt even get to watch it, so i left it at home for an extra night as an overdue. There was even more pressure on the movie to perform now that it owed me an extra $7. Anyway i finally watched it and.. i actually liked it. Great story with a pretty cool ending. Ashton Kutcher's acting sucked (as expected) and the movie wouldve been much better had it featured a badass star like Jean Claude Van Damme or Micheal Dudikoff. The kids in the movie were pretty cool too and made it slightly better.
3.5 from me, what do you think Margaret?

Well David, Being a sodomised child quite like the boy with an appetite for smoked dog i could relate to this movie. I found it to be a gripping story, at times frustrating but it was a good thing though as it showed how much i was getting into the film. I found Ashton Kutchers serious side to be more appauling than his "comedy" acting but the leading lady did a reasonable job of her roles. Those asid it was a great story.
3.5 aswell from me

50 First Dates
I thought this was a great movie. Sandler gets slightly more serious and Drew does a great job as his amnesia ridden love interest. Adam Sandler is a funny guy and there's a great supporting cast and the backdrop of Hawaii. I also thought Sean Astins role was pretty funny and for that reason alone the movie gets rated higher in my opion. The let down was the lack of sex scenes and sword fights but even so, i give it 3.5 stars once again. What do you think David? Is Sandler proving to be a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood?

50 First Dates:
Well Margaret the movie started out well, The line to the Candy Bar was short and the Previews were entertaining and thats about where the fun stopped... Sandler has gone back to his roots of bad comedy(Overboard, Mid 90's) and surprised me with yet another "Sandler classic" Drew Barrymore? Well other than the constant eating i found her to be "cute" and she brought a small amount of credibility to the film. All i have to go on is the first 5 minutes though as i walked out. This movie is a complete waste of film. The only force adam sandler is proving to be is the one making me hate modern cinema.
0.5 Stars
Back to you Margaret..
