<fj20-dr30> and reckons they should charge more and have burnouts, and a wet tshirt comp

The soarer linked up the Essess, then didn't make the left hand turn at the bottom somehow managed to damage the passenger side, i couldn't through the smoke then the big cloud of dust. He was going hard all day, bigLAH soarer on full lock, not bad for the mods. Pity he didn't get away with some easier damage to repair. Good on him, dunno how he got those big balls into the seat to have that thing so far sideways. The guy in the white "boat" 180sx was a laugh, i don't think i saw him stay on the bitumen once. But he was giving it all he had, but the lack of suspension was probably more suited to the 90 degree bends, not the S's. Sorry tot he Antilag.com people i didn;t say hello to, its because i don't know who you are. Catchas

yeah the soarer stacked it hard at the end of the esses, made big noise i actually missed it cause i was taking a photo of jimmah at the time. killed all 3 panels on the passenger side.

yeh waz good to watch.
now i have made a decsion never to take my car down there considring the amount of shit that get flicked onto the track and the amount or Front Bars that were ripped off. (orange 180sx) (black R33 Chosen). Why u didnt take them off to start with like the rest of the guys i dont know.
What happened to the guy in the Red R33. Had good style, went hard all day considering how nice it was. He wasnt in the final, thought he should have been in it.
Next time i mite take the suby wagon down. hahahahaha

It wouldn't be so bad if some people learned
A) How to drive
B) At least have a reaction time that is within 1/2 sec of what the car is doing
C) If you are off the track , don't keep the foot down and spin around aimlessly dragging shit back on.
There is going to be some serious carnage shortly when someone gets there aspirations mixed up with there capabilities on those 3rd gear corners...

I had a good time, i was kinda late leaving though and on the way down one of our cars tyres decided to strip out and delaminate at +$1.1
Ohh well.. so i finally got there at 2.30-3.00 in time for the top 16, some of the guys out there are amazing, alot more though have a long long way to go.... I think ill bring a broom next time as im with ken on this one people just keep dragging shit onto the track.
Driftmike said something to me that i think most people should take into account, you should be driving at 80% not 150% Its awesome to think that he cuts up as much as he does with only 80%!!!!
Props to:
Clint for the Tyres, thanks man, ill get them back asap
Driftmike, Borneo, Gav, Soarer Guy, P Plater in the blue sil, Jimmah, Ken, Jai, Denver(in jai's car), Johnboy, Lauren, Lance and the Two orange s13's and a few of the other guys.
You all fucking rocked!!!
I need another car, i want to come play too.

Hehe the pic on page one is the first I saw of the damage done to the soarer.. heard them 'panel beating' it during the afternoon though :P
Collie is always a ball, everyone had a go at it, even with ppl messing up at least they're doing it at a track, not on the street.
I'll beat driftmike one day..... :D

was good day.....i might go down and praccy with the boat, next practice day.......with a locker....hahaha hope there is some swell..... :D
my pics are up:
http://www.dorifuto.net/events/g-speed_collie_drift_12-09-2004/ video soon! :D
i was also impressed with the soarer, was just getting huge angles and holding it. everyone seemed to be losing it heaps more than usual on sunday. i agree with ken, dont keep the boot in after going onto the dirt and coming back onto the track, flicking dirt and pebbles everywhere. on the 3rd gear corner just after the pit exit on the left, everyone seemed to be driving straight onto the dirt there, where the track has a slight curve. looks like the track may be deteriorating a bit. it was actually looking a bit dangerous, how hard some of the cars were slapping into the sand, unable to wipe off speed, was just waiting for somebody to roll, exciting to watch though. also saw a few close calls when yellow flag was out, with cars drifting past cars stuck in the sand, and in some cases spinning out right next to them. i agree about the red 33 should have been in the final, he had good control. all the regulars have significantly improved, nice work.
Chris.

Yeh, I think the red r33 may have had to leave early, because one of the judges said he had made it to the final. He said it was his first time at the track as well!
